Yeah. I'm from MetroNY, but for this news I'm from Missouri. "Show me."

From no date specified to next week. Hmmm.

This would be fantastic if it actually happens. However, I'm not all that optimistic.

I hate to be pessimistic, but I can't lead myself to believe there is an update headed our way until I see the update installed on my Xoom.

What they claim is true, that's fantastic, but also yet another example of the total lack of marketing communications coming out of Motorola.

Seriously, that whole department needs a fresh start with people that actually know the first thing about marketing.

Trying to look for stuff on Twitter. Pretty much SILENT on it. WOW! I've sent a couple of tweets to VZW and Motorola. No info.
BTW, obviously nothing going on here either. I'm not desperate for it, I'm really just more curious than anything. I've never seen it, so it'll be interesting. Hopefully it doesn't cause any "issues" in the way my phone and tablet currently work together.

I think Motorola still has to soak test prior to release. Probably still about 2 weeks out if this rumor is true.

The original cnet article seemed to indicate the soak test was done. Alas, no update this morning, either.

    I'm shocked! ;-)

Hey, the good news is it's a lot closer than it was when the Motorola site didn't give a date at all.

This is probably one of my last chances to convince anyone to root and flash ICS. ;-)

I'm running the Eos ROM with Cornerstone. in a word, AWESOME!

    Watch the Cornerstone video:

Sites are saying testing is done and we are waiting on Google to make it so. Verizon is not to blame for this one? Amazing...

I've had ICS on my wifi Xoom for months. It will be nice to get it on the 4G Xoom too!

Sadly when the WiFi Xoom got updated to ICS I said that we'd not likely see the 4G version any time soon. People told me I was crazy because it was a GED and Google controlled the update. blah blah blah. Well, Verizon still had to approve it, and that was my big concern. I'm SO glad I didn't wait around for the official update before I jumped to ICS on my Xoom 4G. Otherwise I'd have missed out on several MONTHS of ICS fun. This same delay pattern is happening on MANY Verizon devices and it's simply not acceptable. I fully believe the update for the Xoom 4G was done within a week or two of the WiFI Xoom but we've been waiting all this time for Verizon. I hope this gets released soon for those who are still waiting for an official update, but, I'd really not hold my breath. The people who are skeptical obviously know Verizon well.
