Did you have to be on Verizon's network, or will it come through on a home WiFi? I usually don't use LTE at home to save data charges.

It is awesome so far. Yes you can get it while on wifi far as i know.

It comes over wifi and you don't need a verizon account. My 4g Xoom isn't activated and I got it.

Anyone figured out the launch bar? Don't see it or know how to get it to work...

I spoke with vzw they say its rolling out to everyone. I'm in west pa and still haven't seen it..

Same here - just went to go to bed and saw the notification! Was on Wifi at home.

Screen shots attached. All installed now - no issues. Now I want to stay awake and fiddle!

Came over wifi just after midnight in Raleigh, NC. Now to check and see if I was worth the wait. (First reaction, the keyboard is much better)

you have to have software version 3.2.6 to get ICS...if you never got the 3.2.6 update and are stuck at 3.2.4 like me you will not get it. They hope to have an answer tomorrow for us.

When I go to the check for updates screen my Xoom shows the last date checked was May 31st. I am on 3.2.4, is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know how to fix it. I am on stock Honeycomb and I have never rooted or unlocked the bootloader.

I think you can only be in 3.2.6 if you did the 4G upgrade. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I did the upgrade and on 3.2.4, nothing. And from my understanding this is a soak test where select testers will get it and some random people will get it.

That's because it doesn't exist. This was a major marketing faux pas on Verizon's part. The stock ICS tablet interface (which is obviously what we see on the Xoom since it's a Google Experience Device) does not include any launch bar functionality whatsoever. The launch bar is only part of the phone interface. Someone got really confused along the way. If you want that launch bar functionality, you'll need to run a custom launcher.
