There's already ROMs for JB, I'm running EOS 3 right now, it is really great.

It really is. I liked ICS but JB iced the cake. EOS is only on their third nightly but it already runs great and the future can only get better as they incorporate all the changes they made in ICS to JB.

The Xoom should be out of warranty for most. Just load up EOS 3 and get some jelly beans!

I picked up an N7 the other day, it's actually a pretty good device.

By all accounts it seems to be a great device... I'm holding off for the N10 (most likely a holiday release) - shortly thereafter my wifi Xoom will be 2 years old (wow, already.)

You were on the money there brother. For all the gloom that surrounded the xoom, it has been an excellent device that has met all of my needs and the constant on time updates are refreshing as a Verizon smartphone user. I don't think a seven inch tablet is for me. Perhaps when a 10" nexus comes out, Ill determine which niece or nephew will get my old faithful xoom
