    Default Xoom Issues - HELP

    I have xoom running the ICS update. Since the update the device will lock up and screen will go black. Only solution is a soft reset, the factory reset.

    Even is there is no additional apps installed it does this. It will work for 3 hours, a day, then I need to do it again.

    Any ideas will be of great help!

    There is no official 4.1 for the xoom to my knowledge, or is there?

    I would like to avoid having to root and install a custom rom.

    Which Xoom do you have? Wifi only or 3g/4g? Where are you? The wifi only Xoom in the USA have the official Jelly Bean update. I cannot speak for the rest of the world but am sure someone else will chime in.

    wifi only...and Canada. No Jelly Bean here that I know of.

    Xoom wifi USA has jellybean update, I updated weeks ago.
