The officially unofficial "Optimized For Honeycomb" List (n=292)
I know there have been several threads asking what apps are optimized for tablets, but I thought a definitive list along with market links is in order.
Obviously, for right now the majority of these happen to be listed as "tablet" applications on the Xoom's market. That said, I've found at least several that are properly optimized for tablets/3.0 that aren't specifically listed as such. If you find any others, I'll update them to the list.
***NOTE***
I can not vouch for the quality or functionality of any apps here. While I have installed and ran most of the free ones, I am going off of your recommendations, user reviews, and developer screenshots/features lists for most of the paid apps.

Tapatalk works great and so does google TV remote if you have google TV. They are not in optimized but work great. I do find some don't work right or fill the screen.

While I can understand the utility of a list for those that aren't optimized but work well, the list would be freakishly long. In fact, it's easier to compile a list of current apps that don't work on 3.0 tablets-- there's one stickied to the top of this forum.
On a sidenote, RDP by xtralogic was broken yesterday, but I sent a report to the developer who published an update today and now it works great with Xoom as well.
Thanks for compiling this, nice! Still awaiting the Sports Illustrated Magazine app previewed myself. And supposedly Google Body is a Web site:
Google body is indeed a website when accessed from pc, but it isn't compatible with the Xoom's browser (don't think hardware gfx acceleration through the browser exists yet in android) and should be released as a standalone app.
Add USA Today to the news apps they released a tablet version yesterday that rocks.

I can't seem to find this USA Today app on the market. The only one I seem to find is the phone version that crashes when it loads on the Xoom..what am I missing?
Never mind..found it. Curious that it doesn't show up in the Tablet Apps section in the market.

yeah I was suprised about that too, maybe its too new or something.
I've been using Thumb Keyboard and im loving it. There is different setups for different size screens, I'm using the Honeycomb 10in setting and adjusted the height to make it easier for me to reach all the keys. Very customizable. Enjoy!

Lots of apps are being made tablet-compatible but are not shown in the "tablet" category for whatever reason, hence the purpose of this list!
If they all showed up properly (and hopefully soon they will), my list would be redundant!
Where is this "tablet" category located. Can you view the category on the web market?
Tablets isn't really a category, its like a "featured" heading in the market app thats loaded on the xoom, kind of like "Top Free" and "Top Paid", it says "Android Apps for Tablets" but I don't think its an exhaustive list - (ie the ommission of USA Today, thumb keyboard and others) - I have a feeling developers may have to pay google a premium to have their apps listed there.
The heading doesn't appear on the web based market.

Ahh that is disappointing I would like to see the available apps for it before getting the Xoom.

Well thats why you have this awesome community of people to help you out. Keep your eyes on this thread and as people test out apps they'll report their findings here!
I'm getting so antsy, I keep checking this thread, I keep expecting a flood of awesome new apps, I'm sure it will happen its just a matter of when (crosses fingers for soon)
