Okay, this is really annoying. My Xoom will click while it is turned off, the same clicking that happens when you power off the device. It will click on, then off, then on, then off, etc. Non-stop. If it is plugged into my computer via USB, it does not happen. If I turn off wireless (airplane mode), it does not happen. I checked the logs and it appears to be waking up because of bcmsdh_sdmmc, which appears to be the network driver. I factory reset the device, but as soon as it finished its mandatory updates, the clicking is back.
Ideas? I've changed the Wifi and mobile data settings to no avail, except turning them off completely. I've searched the internet and saw BGR had the same issue, but he never said if he fixed it or just accepted it as-is. No one else seems to have reported it, or bothered them enough, so my device may be broken, but I want to check with the experts out there before I trudge back to best-buy.
