got my xoom, what to do?
I just came back from best buy where I traded my I pad in for the xoom, and I have a few apps installed, pandora, skype, facebook, a few free games...but now what? I'm not sure what else should be done from the get go to get this going super well.
My first android device btw.
Thanks,

I have been messing around on mine for at least 6 hours and it is nowhere near customized where I want it to be yet lol
The lack of tablet optimized apps and widgets is hurting my experience quite a bit but I still really like it.
I organized my home screens and added a bunch of music to mine so far - 03-05-2011, 07:31 PM

yeah unfortunately a lot of the widgets don't work right now which sucks. Please don't base your android experience opinion based off of this. While I think it has a ton of potential it simply is not ready because developers haven't had time to optimize their stuff yet. I have an HTC evo and that experience is near flawless. I hope in time honeycomb will reach its full potential.

Oh I do understand that and I'm fine with waiting, as long as the outcome is what it should. I have a few games that I played on the iPad on the xoom and am currently just looking around the device learning as much as I can.
Just didn't know if anyone around had any suggestions for me - 03-05-2011, 08:08 PM #6

Don't worry too much about the lack of widgets and whatnot, they will come, all of my widgets seem to be working. But I am only using a few, CNN and Fancy Widget for the time. Customization will take some time, don't get discouraged, had mine since day one and am liking it more and more each day!
Yes, there are a few set backs/delays, you can read about them in other posts, but that's what happens with early adoption of new technology.

For music, you can use DoubleTwist. Install it on your tablet and on your PC to sync music. Works great.
