I purchased a Xoom and the portfolio cover recently and when I put the portfolio on it went on great except the left/bottom corner does not snap into place so that corner of the case is loose and I have almost dropped the Xoom several times since the corner isn't secure and pops out.

I took the Xoom and portfolio back to the Verizon Store where I purchased and tried another case and it does the same thing. I asked to try another Xoom and he said I couldn't as they didn't have another open in the store.

Does anyone else have this problem with the portfolio or is it my Xoom?

Thanks.

Same on mine, it doesn't come loose, but it doesnt snap either. I think thats the point so you can use it as a kickstand and without having to do the flaps nonstop

I returned mine, and mine was loose as well but the case still held the xoom in there snuggly.

I have two xoom's and two of the portfolio cases and both snap in on both sides -- one a bit more snugly than the other (probably due to more use). When mine are not clicked in I still find that the top of the case holds very snugly onto the xoom. Many people removed the tabs on the bottom to avoid the scratches and make it easier to go into upright mode.

Surprised that your's is loose when not clicked in... I left the plastic on the back of both of my xoom's perhaps that helps it stay in on top - not sure...
