hulu is set up to block android users and netflix is working on setting up for android

More precisely, Hulu is setup to block ALL mobile clients, as is Netflix. Hulu wants to drive users to their $7.99/month Hulu+ service, and has a client coming for Android. Netflix is concerned about DRM, and has clients for iOS and Windows Phone 7, but not yet for Android. Both are coming, but nobody knows when.

First android device. Phone is blackberry. And I do pay the 7.99 Hulu Plus
for Roku. figured I would be able to access it on the Xoom as well once the flash player was installed.

Not sure about Hulu, but to my understanding Netflix uses Silverlight and not Flash. DRM concerns are the reason why they do not have an android app yet, although they stated they would have one Q1 of 2011, which ends in 11 days, so I am not getting my hopes up for that to happen.
