storage capacity problem

So my xoom says I have 22gb worth of my 32gb used on applications. This is not true, i have maybe ten apps saved on it. It is giving me errors saying that the tablet storage is very low. Anyone know what could be causing this? Stuff is starting to run very slowly.

Go to Settings...Storage...Applcations and you will get a list of all installed applications, with their file sizes. I would be very suprised if it were possible to store 22 Gbyte worth of applications. If you have media stored on your tablet that will take up space, too.

If the file system is corrupte, you might have to do a factory reset.

Yes it definitely says nearly 22 gb worth of applications, 3 gb of media. I guess I have no choice but to reset it.
