two bluetooth items at one time

I have a question regarding the Microsoft 6000 Bluetooth keyboard and keypad. I have successfully been able to pair both items, but it will only allow one of them to be connected to the Xoom at a time (Verizon Xoom with 3G - stock, no intent to root). THis keyboard and key pad work perfect without problem, except the at the same time issue

Does anyone know if it is possible to have both connected and working at the same time? I was able to connect both at same time on my Droid X. The reason I like this is because I do a lot of input and I am sick of carrying around my 17" laptop to have a full keyboard and keypad, when I can do it on a much smaller and lighter Xoom + bluetooth.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Once the new update is applied you should be able to pair both devices simultaneously
