The "I just got the 3.1 Update" thread

Thought it would be a good idea to share who got the 3.1 update by location and xoom type, give those folks who are waiting for their push some visibility into whose gotten it and their details. Lets keep it clean and not clutter up the thread with "I'm still waiting" posts.

Me: Xoom wifi-only, Atlanta GA suburb...got my update around 5:30pm on Thursday 5/12
Other Stuff: bought at a Best buy, was all stock-no root

Turned on Xoom at doctor at 1:00pm and had the update.

I'm in the same boat. Bought it on day one with a 2 year contract. No update yet......

Me as well. 1st day purchase, no update. I think this is the wrong thread for this discussion though.

In order to receive the update can you just leave it on wi-fi or do you need the data on too to receive the OTA? I have the 3g model

I turned on my wifi Xoom half an hour ago, and I received the 3.1 update.
I purchased it on day one, and I'm in OKC.

Got mine today, bought my xoom at verizon earlier this week. So far so good too bad we can't have unlimited 3g on this piece

so basicaly when the announced that those of us who got the verizon with 3g would be first they were pretty much lying since just about every post i've seen on all the forums who that the wifi only versions are getting their push first. Why can't some corporations just tell the truth sometime. Is that too much to ask! !!!,

you missed the point, we were told one thing and are receiving something else, they missrepesented the truth which ends up angering everyone for no reason.
