Qi Chargers for the Nexus 4

I got one of the WCP-700 ones and I am not seeing the device ever gain charge. It sits on the mat, the mat beeps, the nexus4 says it is charging, but it never gains any battery %... or if it does, it is incredibly slow to charge. Anyone else seeing this or have any tips?

they also sell these at VZW stores.

When I checked it said " Temporarily out of stock". Hmm... I think it didn't come up because I was searching Super Saver Shipping?

I checked two Verizon stores. One didn't have any wireless charges. The others only had Nokia one and JBL speakers that don't work with the N4.

I'll try two more Verizon stores tomorrow. If they don't have it, then I buy using the link you gave me. Thanks again! :thumbup:

I don't think it would. Energizer lists it separately from the Qi chargers on their website (it's under Wii Chargers), and the company that makes it (PDP) seems to use a proprietary induction charging method. Too bad, too, nice price.

Oops, yes, that would filter results. I found all those last month just searching on "qi wireless charger."

I just ordered one. We needed a new Wii charger anyways, so if it worked for the Nexus 4, it would be a bonus haha

I ordered the "temporarily out of stock" single plate energizer from amazon yesterday and last night got a est delivery of Dec 4, next week Tuesday. I can deal with a few days wired charging as long as this thing rocks.

I just got the LG WCP-700 inductive charger from eBay. It works with my Nexus 4 and my Lumia 920 even when there is a case of the phone. I'm all set! It only cost me $50.

Whats your opinion on the beeping?

the beeping is non issue. however the internals tick very softly and it is driving me crazy. it is like the tell tale heart.

i thought it was only when it is plugged in and the phone was not on it but now it is starting even when the phone is charging.

Can this be used as an all night charger or should i still plug it in overnight? That's usually the only time I charge my phone...

I put mine on when I go to bed and keep it there all night.
I really like it also I'm still only getting the one beep just when I put the phone down. Is it possible they fixed the issue with a newer batch?

Not sure if you noticed this but there is a clear film on the energizer mat. I didn't notice at first and had the same problem with my phone always slipping off. Then I removed the film and its great, the mat is actually sticky/tacky without the film and the phone doesnt move at all. It's hard to tell that the film is there, but take it off and it will make a world of difference.

I'm still haunted by the beeping of my ex's Powermat + iPhone that drove me crazy. It's one of those little small things that start to add up and drive you nuts, lol.

So I didn't want a charger that made any noise. An indicator light is more than enough. I don't need no stinking beeping!! So the LG isn't for me. I went with the Energizer and, so far, couldn't be happier.

Has anyone bought or tried the Zens single wireless charger listed in the OP? I'm interested in that one and it supports the Mobile Nations sites. Listed for $48.95 currently.
