New Trent IMP120D External Battery w/Nexus4
Hi
I'm looking at buying an external battery which will work with both my phone (Nexus4) and my tablet (Nexus7).
I know the New Trent IMP120D works fine with the Nexus7 but can't find any info on if it works with the Nexus4? I've read somwhere that it doesn't work with some phones and only charges to 500mAh?
Any ideas guys? This charger looks ace for the money, just I want to use it with my phone as well as my tablet! - 12-25-2012, 08:27 AM #2

I got my RAVPower unit yesterday. It came 75% charged and I was able to charge my Nexus 7 from 1% to 100% in a few hours. It left the RAVPower with less than 25% charge left. It tried charging the unit at work today using the 1A plug that it came with. It got to just over 50% in a bit over 6 hours. Here's a couple pictures to give you an idea of its dimensions.

I bought an Anker 5600mah battery pack and it charged my phone from 50% to full in 45 min. Super fast. It only used about 25% of the battery too. Highly recommended http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005K7...idcentral00-20

Re: New Trent IMP120D External Battery w/Nexus4
I've been using the IMP120D since shortly after I got my Nexus 7, and it works just as well with the Nexus 4 (which will charge from the 1A output). I also picked up their NT70T (also works with both), and love it for its portability. The IMP120D is still my travel buddy, as it's good for covering just about any travel I might do, but the NT70T is really nice for being reasonably pocketable, and not requiring any wires/wire adapter (it has a short micro-USB cable integrated that snaps into its side). A bit less capacity, but perfectly fine for any need I'll have on one given day.
