Google Nexus 4 Cases 16 GB

Edit. My bad. Didn't look at the link and thought it was the armor case that's the same as the ionic and exact armor case. My apologies and thank you for sharing.

So I went ahead and bought one of those cases was posted for the ebay link above. I got the doubled armored red on black holster case. The case does an outstanding job of protecting the N4. Holes are all lined up and it fits nice. Not overly secured.

The red rubber case is flimsy but thick enough to break a three foot fall. The head phone and charging Ports are nicely plugged. Add the black exoskeleton and it adds more confidence. The exoskeleton has a four rubber lugs that give the N4 added protection when you put the phone down or should it drop.

The kick stand is sturdy and props up the N4 nicely.

The holster is a slide in and not the standard pop in from the front. The belt clip turns 180 degrees and it has a V clip spring versus the spring coil spring that most clips have. This is one of the most secure holsters I have seen.

The double case adds about three to five millimeters around the N4.

Aside from all that, the case smells like crap. It has an extremely strong smell of unrefined petrol mixed with caster oil. It's so strong that it made my wife gag. The smell is such that I believe it would catch on fire if a flame were near it. Like it releases fumes or something. It's such a damn shame that a great case like this can reek so bad of unrefined petrol.

I tried soaking it in hot water mixed with simple green and it did get rid of about 80% of the fumes that it emitted. Sigh.

I have had this problem with more than one soft silicone case for phones, tablets and e-readers. I haven't found anything that completely eliminates it.
