When I put my N4 on the wireless charging orb, there's no sound to let me know it's working. I have to look at the phone to see. I'm on 4.2.2 (and Paranoid Android), so there's supposed to be a sound. Am I just missing a setting somewhere?

I'm stock and it makes a cool beep tone. But it's hit or miss. Most of the time it does.

I've noticed it only sounds when you have it off the charger or a while and then set it down. It doesn't seems to do it if you return it there less than 30 mins or so later. And I kind of like that it doesn't annoy you if you are just using it at your desk and want to pick up for a call and then immediately back down.

I get the notification sound from my N4 and a beep from my LG charging mat.

Hit or miss for me using the Zens charger. Sometimes, I get the sound notification. Sometimes, I don't. Regardless, the Zens charger illuminates a blue LED letting you know it's charging.

I've noticed that I only get the sound if I set the phone on the wireless charger with the screen off. It never happens if the screen is turned on.

As the OP, I want to update this thread that the sound started appearing for me after a later update to Paranoid Android. I'm currently on 4.2.2 and PA 3.10 and the phone makes the noise when placed on the orb charger.

Has there been a solution without changing anything? running stock and notice it is randomly happening as well. Once I restarted the phone, it was making the sound again.
