Re: Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightlies Discussion
I'm liking it so far. This is my first time trying CyanogenMod. I've previously used AOKP on the S3. I would have went with AOKP again but, it's still in preview mode and too buggy for me to try right now for a primary phone. This rom is just like stock and very stable. I like that battery percentage can be added as well as quick toggles to the notification area. One of thngs things I like about AOKP is the abiltiy to have a different lockscreen wallpaper and lockscreen apps, I'm not sure if this is coming to CM10.1 or not.

How is the normal battery consumption in 10.1? Better then stock ROM?

How are the new Quicksettings? I haven't used CM since the change to make them like the notification power widget was merged.

Re: Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightlies Discussion
It good. Some of the quick settings don't sync with the power widget but I just stopped using the power widget. The icons are a little inconsistent with the coloring and I would like to be able to change the ordering but it works and the potential is there to almost never need to go into settings.

There is a great guide that is stickied to top of this forum that will get your phone back to stock. I would suggest you do a lot more reading in this forum and over at the xda forums to learn more about installing roms before going any further.

Re: Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightlies Discussion
For those running CM check out the free app . The concept is one of those things that's so simple yet so brilliant. Basically it goes out everyday and will download a delta update for your device. Rather than downloading the entire 200mb nightly, it will download only the pushed global or device specific changes which results in update files of 10mb or so. It also wipes your cache and flashes the delta for you.
CM has a native auto-update feature (Menu > Settings > About Phone > CyanogenMod Updates) but that pulls the full build file of 200mb. - 12-11-2012, 08:38 PM #23
