Root questions.
Hello,
I got Nexus 4 around 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with it.
I had Galaxy S2 before and it was rooted then got Nexus 4, and I really want to root it.
If I root and somethings goes wrong I cant just go to the local phone repair center so
could I unroot it and lock the bootloader and then send it in without them knowing I rooted it?
Thanks,

Re: Root questions.
No.. If you screw something up you do a factory image restore.

Re: Root questions.
^^He's saying it is very hard to brick or otherwise mess up a Nexus because the factory images are made available from Google (unlike your GS2 etc etc). Not to mention you should always have 1 good backup on your (internal) sd card that you can easily revert to/restore in recovery mode. Please read the guides/stickies in 2def's signature above. Very very simple to unlock/root and/or relock/unroot and factory restore.
