How do I unlock the bootloader with my Nexus 4 on 4.2.2 with a Mac?

the tl;dr version:

1. Install SDK
2. Make sure you have fastboot
3. Reboot to bootloader
4. Plug in phone
5. Open terminal
6. fastboot oem unlock

Same as with any other Nexus.

I thought it would be special with the nexus on 4.2.2? Sorry for my noobness but on the iPhone if you updated there was a new procedure to do every time so I am just a little confused
