    Default Have some problem

    Hey guys I used the one click flash CWMR but every time I try to boot into it it just comes up with a dead android and exclamation mark, what is going wrong?

    You're seeing stock recovery.. If you are stock it automatically reflashes itself when you reboot the phone, and you need to flash a custom one each time before booting into it.

    Ok I've flashed CWM recovery after finding out my idiotic mistake, now how do I go on about installing cyanogen mod M2? And google apps how will I do that on a Mac? I've tried searching for tutorials to no avail

    Put ROM and GApps on phone (use the latest GApps from here: )

    Reboot to recovery.
    Wipe Data/factory reset
    Wipe caches
    Format system
    Flash ROM and then GApps
    Reboot, enjoy.

    Note that the GApps pack does NOT include GApps which you can install via the Play Store, so even basic things like Gmail, Maps, etc will have to be installed that way.

    EDIT: Before you begin, make a backup in recovery!!

    Ahhh,I installed AOKP without installing gapps and had to restore not looking forward to wiping my phone again

    Are these steps applipicle to any ROM?
    Sorry for my noob ness this is my first android phone and my second attempt at a flash

    Same steps for every flash when moving to a new ROM. Sometimes you can upgrade a ROM without wiping data (a dirty flash) but it's always risky and not recommended. If you dirt flash you run the risk of bugs that do not occur on a clean flash.

    Am on CM M2 right now because when I tried to use AOKP and when I flashed Gapps the play store kept giving me an error and I couldnt download anything from it, any ideas?I really like AOPK more then Cyanogenmod
