Hey guys,

New android user here, been having the Nexus 4 for 2 months or so but I've noticed there's a small glitch on the date bit (refer to images). Not sure what is or was wrong, I hope someone could help me out. :'(

Thanks!

Can you be more specific about what is wrong, what we're looking for? Are you running a custom ROM or are rooted, if so what root apps are you using or what have you done to the system?

The dates are not displaying properly where in the screen shot it shows "3, 5 14" instead of "13 May 2013", I've changed the setting to auto for date and times, rebooted but still showing the same. It's at factory settings never ran any ROM nor rooted it before.

Have you tried changing the date format in settings? What is it set on? It looks like 2013/05/14, but the front numbers are getting chopped. It also looks like you may have installed an app that could be causing this.

Lol I misread the whole thing as the "data" not showing correctly.. Hence why I had no idea what you were talking about :)

Above suggestion should work.. Change the format in the settings.

Unfortunately, it's still the same. I've changed the format in the settings.

Hmm... no, as far as I could remember. I only have UCCW widgets for the clock, that's all. I've tried uninstalling UCCW and restarting and it was still the same.

Ok, it is because you have no events and mine does have transparency. It is just hard to tell with the dark background. Looks like yours may be displaying a number for the day of the week. Did it show a 2 for yesterday?

Since you have it set on automatic, must be the way the network you are on feeds the date to your phone. You could try a manual set up to see if that changes it.

I'm having the same issue. All dates in the entire system are displaying incorrectly. LG Nexus 4, standard ROM. I've changed every setting relating to the date display that I can find and nothing has changed.

I've had this issue and finally got this fixed. Somehow my "Language & input" setting got changed. The Language was set to "US", but that was not a valid option. When I entered into the language menu, I selected "English (United States)", and that fixed everything.

Hopefully this was somewhat helpful

This thing worked.
My nexus is running on 4.3 and few days back I noticed the this changed and was very much annoyed because of this sudden change.
Finally got a fix.
Thanks
