newbie help please

Hi all,
I rooted my phone last night and today put on PA3

All worked fine but now my google play store doesn't load, I try and install facebook off the website direct and it says its installed already as does FB chat. They were both previously installed but now off my apps menu as I loaded the PA ROM on

Are my old apps still in the background somewhere?

Anyone had this issue before?

Did you perform a full wipe before flashing PA? Did you install GAPPS? If no then do a full wipe and re-install the ROM and GAPPS.

I have noticed all my apps synced again APART from the Super SU app that when loaded when I first rooted it

does loading PA wipe it? Is it essential to have it on?
