How do I get rid of TWRP so I can update to 4.4?

First, let me come out and say I know nothing about this stuff. I just want to get my phone back to stock, that's it. I bought a used Nexus 4, it was rooted with SuperSU and has Team Win Recovery Project on it. I got the ota 4.4 update but the phone bricked when I tried to install it. I factory reset and uninstalled SuperSU but the TWRP is still there.

Can someone, using a minimal amount of developer jargon, give me a step by step on how to get rid of this stuff so I can update my os? I'd greatly appreciate the help.

Use this guide from the stickies, I don't think I could explain it much simpler.

Unfortunately, there's no "easy" way to do it (although I think the process is fairly simple, I'm aware that's because I know what I'm doing). Good luck!

BTW if you've done a full unroot from within SuperSU, have you tried installing the OTA again? Might work :)

Wubba lubba dub dub!
