Koolpad Qi Wireless Charger

I was interested in getting one of these, but was wondering, if anyone has one do these things trickle charge? Someone stated on a review I read that the charger charges your device fully, then turns off, then after a certain % of loss starts charging again thus using small cycles of your battery life.

Not sure if this is even an issue because doesn't trickle charging already do this? Hoping someone can clarify.
