Yes, I know, the Nexus 5 doesn't have an internal slot for a micro-SD card, but.....

I've been using a 64GB micro-USB thumbdrive with no issues on my non-rooted N5 (with Nexus Media Importer) and was wondering if the N5 would work, non-rooted, with larger capacity memory cards now available such as SanDisk's 128GB MicroSDXC card (in conjunction with a micro-USB card reader such as Meenova's Dash Micro, which is designed to support up to 128GB cards).

Anyone have any experience trying this, or the technical wherewithal to provide insight as to whether the N5 will support (without root) a 128GB card via adaptor?
