Dual log in

I am having trouble logging in to my Nexus 5X. I go thru this procedure with my name & pin and then use the call function.

My problem is when I use this dual function the code pops up so fast I can't read it and I don't know where it goes or where to look for it

Also why do I have to change my password everytime I log on to my account I don't like it

Is there some kind of extra security on your phone?

My security setting is for PIN or fingerprint. Either will unlock my phone. I've never input my name except perhaps in the setup process....

What are your security settings???

I use a pin but can I use my name???? If I can use name I want to do it

Yes, instead of choosing PIN just choose password.
