And if you follow this advice from their youtube they will send you a code for 50% off if you promise to do a review on Amazon. I requested Sunday night and got the email today...ordered from Amazon via the link and unit should be here on Thursday.

"To buy this product, type in "iBOLT cPro" on Amazon here in the US or on the European platform. If you are interested in buying a unit at 50% discount and give it an honest written review please send an e-mail to orders@ibolt.co with your name referring to this post and we'll send the coupon back."

Their youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spw8RXATUyo&ab_channel=iBOLTlife

The direct link on Amazon...but try and wait for that code to save $20. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5009040

And note that you still need a USB C car charger. The Vinsic @12.90 is Benson Leung approved.

I currently am using a magnetic mount to a small vent holder....works pretty well, but I would like one handed operation to click into the charger versus leaving the charging cord dangling, then inserting it with two hands, and slapping it on the magnetic mount.

EDIT: The delivered version is really nice. Type C to type C. Windshield or Dash suction mount, Vent mount, and a small ball mount with its own sticky pad. One extra benefit is that the camera is not blocked, so if you mount it where it looks out the windshield this can be a dash cam...I use SMR pro not for it's stealth capabilities, but because you can set it up with a single tap it goes into background and will record a video..

the iBolt is now available on Amazon with Prime shipping. Now available on Amazon with Prime shipping http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5009040

This was brought up in the Cpro thread, but I'll ask it here too. Based on the video and pics, your phone is sitting on nothing but the USBC connector if you have it vertically set up. Wouldn't that damage the port on the phone during a bumpy ride?

Have you had any issues yet?

I posted this in another forum too. No concern with sitting on the USB connector. That connector is built into a rubber mount that actually provides the support for the device. My only issue has been I still cannot quite master getting the device onto the connector and into the mount with one hand. Not a big deal, but still I would like to be able to both mount and unmount one handed. Cannot do either yet. Part of this is caused by how close I have the mount located my front windshield pillar.

If I can find mine, I'll link it.

I chose one that has inserts into the CD player so if you don't require use of it, it's the perfect spot.

I'm actually really interested in the iOttie Easy One Touch 3. The video showing how it works on one of the reviews looks pretty cool. They did quit selling it recently because of a defect, but I noticed this morning that it's up for sale on their website (hoping on Amazon soon too).

I have this. It blocks the volume buttons. Well mostly the down but I don't want one that blocks the buttons. Time to find something else.

Just be aware that these slot-mounts might completely kill your cd player/head unit. That happened with my Mazda. They can exert enough pressure on the sides of the slot to cause damage. Was lucky enough to get mine replaced under warranty, but the tech warned me not to use it again, or the next time would be on me.
