Google Nexus 6P Random Reboot

Anyone else get any? I've had two in the five days I've had the phone. Not sure of any correlation.

Never had any that I can recall w/my prior phone, at least with the stock ROM.

I had one during initial setup, guessing just too much going on with phone trying to install 70 apps.

Once overnight, when the phone was in doze mode. Was prompted for the PIN code after reboot the next morning. The battery report also showed the shutdown and reboot.

I had one today. First time since I got it 5 days ago. I'm guessing Google will track down the bug and fix it at some point.

I dont have my 6p yet but I wouldnt worry too much about this. Seems like every phone ive owned, including an iPhone, has had reboot issues early on. My current M8 did it about once or twice a week when it was new, now it will occur on rare occasions, maybe once a month. It'll get worked out with updates.

This happened to me this morning. It was my first night with the 6p. It's like it was half shut off, if that makes sense. If it was all the way off, you'd have to long press the power button to boot it up but I only pressed it quickly. And it immediately asked for the passcode whereas booting up from being powered off you get the Google logo first, and you're not asked for the passcode until like halfway through booting up.

Mine fully rebooted on its own, but when I tried to fingerprint unlock it prompted me for the required passcode after bootup.

It's happened to me as well. Just got mine today. Also had a couple freezes.

Had one freeze and had to reboot. Had another random reboot on it's own. (Both with in 24 hours of getting the phone and then nothing for past 24 hours).

I have this same issue tried every possible solution but didn't resolved the issue...i have got my device on 5 nov. and it has rebooted for about 8-10 till today .. cant find any solution please help..

If it's doing it that much and you've tried a factory reset I think the only option is to call Google for a warranty exchange.
