Restart the 6P

Most probably already figured this out but I had to research it. I know coming from Samsung, you hold down power button and it gives you the option to power off OR restart.
On the 6P you have to hold down power button for approx 8 seconds and then phone will restart if that is what you are wanting to do. Just an FYI...

Thanks for this info. I don't have mine yet, and hadn't thought this far ahead.

My LG G2 operates in much the same manner as you describe for your Sammy (long press the power button give you the options to restart, shut down or go into airplane mode).

So, that begs the question ..., what do you do if you just want to turn the phone off, not restart it?

Hold down the power button briefly and a power off button appears. That's all.

I'd attach a screenshot but the AC app keeps crashing when I attempt that.
