Okay, got a replacement Nexus 6P for my dropped 6P. I've signed in so Google has reinstalled my apps and settings. I was thinking the setup wizard was going to prompt to transfer files via NFC but that hasn't happened. What's the best way to get this done?

Not rooted and don't really want to be. Is there a built-in Android app for this or do I need a 3rd party util?

What else do you want to transfer? Media? Best way is through PC or cloud storage. NFC has never worked for me when I had large amounts to move.

Strange - I thought that when you first started Setup on a new device one of the first things it asked was if you wanted to transfer information from another device or setup as new. Didn't you see that prompt?

I did a reset and I just copied 70GB of music, photos and movies and I was all set to go. All my apps downloaded and I was able to restore my Nova settings. Took about. A day but I just let it copy and I was still using original 6P.
