Sorry for reposting if the other shows up. Had a wifi glitch while I tried and it doesn't show posting. Anyway...

My 6p is currently running 7.0 Nougat, however, the Build number is that of a 5x (NRD90M). How am I supposed to fix this?

There is a NRD90M for the 6P as well. Have you tried to check for an update?

Those who have the 90M enrolled in the beta program to get Android N in August. But many did not get the upgrade to 90U when that time came.

Sounds like you enrolled in the beta program and might still be on it.

That is exactly what happened. How to I get 90U on this thing?

I'm on the same boat as you. I did enroll in developer preview to receive Nougat and unenrolled. Now my question is, can if I enroll in developer preview, get updates, and unenroll to without wiping out phone?

I'm really not sure. I just want it back to where it will update automatically. I don't want to fool around with flashing, sideloading or whatever it's called. No time for that **** anymore.

I feel you about not having time to be messing with stuff. But I just enrolled in developer preview and got 7.1.1. I guess I can unenroll in December once the final 7.1.1 build is released without having phone wiped out (hopefully). We'll see what happens come November!

I think it has to do with google system and the IMEI stuck in the Beta program even if you unenroll. I haven't seen anyone that enrolled get the official release.

Well I enrolled in developer preview and received 7.1.1. As mentioned in another post, I'll just wait till December when I hopefully get the final release and then unenroll (I was one of those people that enrolled in developer preview in August to receive Nougat). Lesson learned here boys and girls is don't enroll in developer previews. After this is over in December (hopefully), no more enrolling in previews or nothing else like that. I don't have time to be wiping out my phone and reinstalling evehrbtibt.

Perhaps you didn't see my response to you in another thread regarding your question - I chatted with Google support (from the Settings -> Support tab in 7.1.1) and they assured me that if you unenroll from the Developer Preview it'll revert you to 7.0 without wiping your device. Feel free to get your own confirmation from them regarding that subject.

Oh ok. Sorry been bouncing all over the threads lol. Do you know if I unenroll, what build version I will stay on (referring to the NRxxx number) and will I keep the October security updates?
