Wanted to share this with you guys,

Last Sunday my 6P rebooted on it's own a couple of times during the day.

On Monday it rebooted again, never to get past the Google text logo.

I was able to get to recovery mode but all options i tried brought me back to the Google logo.

Anyways, I called Huawei (my 6p was purchased at Best Buy) and the tech rep intermediately offered for me to send it in for a repair o replacement because this was a "known hardware issue".

Anyone else know about this?

Perhaps they know about it; I haven't seen it mentioned here in the forums (that I can recall anyway).

When you got into Recovery mode did you try flashing the firmware again?

I've had exactly the same issue - a couple of random reboots then a reboot a day or two later that lead to the boot loop.

You can access fastboot, but recovery mode craps out, as does factory reset. I attempted to reflash a recovery image via fastboot and erase the cache multiple times, but had no joy.

I'm now attempting a 6.0.1 downgrade to see if that solves the issue. In the meantime, Google support seem aware of the issue as they instantly offered to ship me a replacement device.
