If I am enrolled in the beta and the official 7.1.1 drops will I get this without having to loose my data?
If you can't wait for the OTA to arrive, which will take you to the official release, you can manually flash the OTA image - that will leave your data intact.Wish that I could get on official release without doing that.
Going to wait a bit but really would like the stable well not beta. Hope to get a notification sometime today if not may just wipe and unenrolled from the beta.If you can't wait for the OTA to arrive, which will take you to the official release, you can manually flash the OTA image - that will leave your data intact.
Not able to find the beta OTA file as the one available won't update the beta 7.1.1If you can't wait for the OTA to arrive, which will take you to the official release, you can manually flash the OTA image - that will leave your data intact.

I got the RTM bits yesterday, and de-enrolled today. Despite the "warning" about getting reverted to another build, there was no forced update.
My RTM notification was fast, right when I refreshed, so I'd be surprised if I now get a "forced un-enroll", which I'm pretty sure would just install the same 7.1.1 build, mine was the same size as the download above.
I think Google just does this as a CYA, in case someone doesn't "time it right" and potentially erases their phone.
Hmm, that would really suck. I got the 7.11 RTM pushed though, so you're thinking that's it, now I'm stuck in some sort of "limbo state", with regards to my updates?
That would almost seem like they'd have to create some custom code, to prevent the post-de-enrollment updates, from a coding perspective anyway.
If this is the case, I really wonder why...
The only thing I have read about timing is from T-mobile - 10k first week (starting 12-6) 10k next week, then ?
Sounds like a "slow" roll out. I didn't join the beta program until first of Nov, but for some reason I did get the Nov. update. I probably will be one of the last ones to get the update (maybe some time in Jan.) I am in no hurry; phone is working perfectly; probably not much difference, if any.
