A Few Beers And A Rooted Nexus 7 Don't Mix
So after stopping for a few beers after work I was on the bus home when I decided to test out a few things given I rooted the device earlier today. One test was deleting bloatware and in doing so I deleted all the files for the standard google keyboard. Believe there were four files beginning with word "latin". One of them was definitely LatinImeGoogle.apk. WHen I deleted these I had no idea they were for the keyboard. Could someone that has rooted their Nexus 7 tell me what files they have that begin with "latin" and does anyone know where I can go to download the missing files? Perhaps a custom ROM I can look through.
Thanks.

LOL!!! Being the dumba** I am I had only backed up the user apps and not the blasted system apps. Have since fixed that.

I recommend making a nandroid before doing any "sensitive" editing. If you happen to eff stuff up, as long as you can still get to recovery, you can just restore your backup (nandroid)... and it's as if it never happened.
Make sure to do a full wipe before restoring a nandy.
Also, there's no bloat on the N7

What oxy said.... should make a nandroid backup before mucking about in the system. With TiBu do NOT backup and restore system apps, that's a bad idea. Read the guide in my sig if you want some tips on TiBu

I once hacked up that file to change some colors and messed it up so I had no keyboard. Just loaded another like swipe so I could fix the stock one. Back ups are your best friend once you root.
