I just got my nexus 7 today. Its beyond awesome. I pulled the system dump and are deodexing it manually as we speak. Look for it VERY soon. I do need some volunteer testers soon. Hit me up on pm if you wanna test.

Same thing here - got MCR JR6 and am satisfied so far. What features will your beta include the stock ROM doesn't have?

Not much as of yet. Im still trying to sort out the updater script. Keep getting a status 7 error.

Often more recovery-related than ROM related, as I'm sure you know anyways. What recovery are you using, and are you sure its up-to-date?

Also check the permissions within the updater script, particularly concerning recovery.

Every time someone has asked me for help with the script it is always the recovery line right before permissions that the miss. Just in case that helps

Yup. There are 2 recovery lines needing to be removed (at least with 4.1.1/GN) and I learned the hard way which one was the one that was still there

I just got my Nexus 7 and like it so far. I unlocked arooted it however I am still looking into Roms. a bit spoiled with WildChild Roms on all of my Phones
