Hacking the Nav and Notification bars
For me one of the biggest drawbacks of the N7 was the choice Google made not to give it a full tablet interface. The amount of screen real estate the navigation and notification bars take up is horrible. Once rooted i know there's the dpi hack to enable tablet interface with a combo nav/notificaton bar and there are also a handful of mods that enable this as well. This is helpful but does anyone know of a way to move this combo bar to the top of the screen? I find that my thumbs end up hiding icons and even worse, when im typing my fingers always wander into the bar, clicking things, shooting me into other apps or to the home screen.
If anyone knows of a rom or hack to move the nav/notification bar to the top, or a way to hide the bar when the keyboard is out please toss up a reply! Thanks! - 11-08-2012, 09:29 AM #2
