After updating to 4.2 through OTA (Google Service Framework FC trick, to be exact), I am not getting notifications from Gmail, facebook, etc. when I should be getting them. I will still get them on my phone (4.0.4), and the two are on the same WiFi network, but the Nexus isn't receiving them.

I guess I'm asking if anyone else has experienced this or if there is a notification setting in 4.2 that is defaulted to not push or something. Any thoughts?

To clarify, this is for all (what would be) pushed notifications. Google Now is still there constantly, but nothing else.

i too have the same problem. started occuring only after 4.2 ota. no issues until 4.1.2, all the settings are the same as earlier. can anyone suggest something? its for my galaxy nexus though.
