OnePlus 3 Community Beta (MM) 3.5.3 now up!

As well as the regular Oxygen firmware for the OnePlus 3, there is also a beta test build that stock or unlocked/rooted users can flash to their phone. This is called the Community Beta and is designed to test out new features for the OnePlus 3 which may, or may not, be included in the regular Oxygen firmware in future. It also contains bug fixes for reported issues and has the Google security update for October.

This build is for competent and experienced users and the thread on the OnePlus 3 forum describes how to download and install it. These Community Beta's are, like the regular Oxygen builds, updated OTA. Please read the instructions and thread, carefully and thoroughly, before proceeding.

The update includes:-

• Use AOSP clock as default clock
• Added capability to uninstall some preinstalled apps, like FileManager, Weather, Recorder, MusicPlayer
• Added expanded screenshots, you can now save a long screenshot of a scrollable page to cover more contents.
• Added celluar data firewall, you can control whether an app is allowd to use cellular network or WiFi
• Added“Favorite contact setting”in Priority mode
• Setting menu adjustment in Messages, added option to vibrate phone when receiving SMS
• Contact UI redesign
• Fixed community build cannot flash back to official build issue
• General bug fixes
