Moving my iphone SIM card

I want to move my Verizon SIM card out of my iphone 4S
to my soon to arrive OnePlus. Can I swap between these phones
with this same card?

Am I going to need to change the APN settings on the OPO
to get this to work?

Also, will I need an adaptor to hold the SIM card?

Thx!

Re: Moving my iphone SIM card

According to reviews and other user experiences on the web, the OnePlus One is not compatible with Verizon's CDMA network. So although the microSIM card from your iPhone would fit, you wouldn't be able to make any phone calls. You'd presumably be able to access LTE for data, and could consider VOIP calls. Not sure if the One will be able to make VoLTE calls, once Verizon turns that on nationwide.

The sim in a Verizon device is to use on GSM networks. Although the Verizon devices come gsm unlocked, The OPO will not work in Verizon in the US because the network is CDMA and the OPO has GSM radios.

Go get a droid turbo! ;)

The OPO actually has a WCDMA radio, but that still isn't compatible with the Verizon network.

Good to know. I thought Verizon was one of a few carriers that use CDMA.
I thought the global version was gsm only and the China model had a CDMA radio?

Oh, actually I don't know about any possible differences between versions. I was just looking at the OnePlus website.

As far as I can tell, WCDMA is used in Japan and other countries, but not the US.
