Why isn't my Oneplus One wifi connecting?

[AC Question]

My Oneplus One Wifi is not connecting.

My OPO wifi was working fine. But after the Cynogen update, it has stopped working totally. Now it just shows status as - "Connecting" but never connects, even after rebooting it several times and toggling between the Airplane mode.

Someone please suggest a fix for this, its damn irritating

I had that situation occasionally before the latest update. My OnePlus One would not reconnect to WiFi if I left a WiFi connection and did not turn it off.

I would turn off WiFi and back on and the connection would reestablish. One time I had to disabled and reinstalled the WiFi source.

B. Daddy all you have to do is go to the preferred Wifi network showing on your mobile and change the IP Settings to 'Static'. Now go to the settings of your Wifi network provider (on a System) & check the IP address they are using. Insert the same IP address in your mobile & save the settings. You are done. (Y)
