Hello all i have decided to continue Gannons MIUI gb

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE!!!!!!

Im not a dev at all im a porter just switch files around for people who enjoy it.

A little bit about me.
I am a 13 year old boy who has nothing better to do than this
Some people ask why do i do this for a different phone than the phone i have?? well i do it because i seem to have a lot more people appreciate my work on the v i think

Ok lets get started
Reboot recovery

wipe EVERYTHING

Do a double flash if you have problems

7/10/12- SYNCED WITH GANNONS LATEST BUILD AND HOPEFULLY fixing themes to fix themes use a file manager to create a folder in the /data/system i think it is called 'themes' without quotes this should HOPEFULLY get themes working

9-2-12
Synced with mirages latest build
Fixed non market apps
Hardly any lag if you remove clock widget
Cyanogenmod settings are broke they force close just download no frills CPU
Used a new miui gb that gannon told me
Still broken mms

10-20-12
New port by judarocks is being used

I dont think it matters what firmware you are on

Future plans:
Fix mms!!!!

honestly im trying my best to fix
i cant build from source
i dont know how to code
im trying my best to work on this but this is not my main objective please know
gonna call up someone maybe he can help me but i doubt it but if i can that would be awesome. Cant get miuiv4 booting for some reason tried from several different roms. this is not my main objective either.
i am focusing my next couple of days mostly on godzilla for the optimus s but i shall also be working on this just not as much.

Building fron source wont fix a thing. Miui is closed source.

MMS, really easy to fix.
Play Store problems, I used a different market and it worked.

Other problems from before are still there. Rotation lag, some apps don't work.

Basically this is just updated CM sources. This is what I tried to tell you in the Pm. If Gannon's was outdated, atleast fix an issue then post.

Don't take me for coming on like that, but you have to understand.

yes you can. I got arrested at 12. lol. our school has a zero tolerence policy on fighting and a kid punched me in the head. And I get arrested. smh. Im not a bad kid I swear!!! lol

Johnny, my latest build is on vmroms. You probably should use that one.

Also, you should really get the latest build from the Chinese website and port from there. A clean start. Will be harder, but at least you have updated sources

Almost did was 12 and started a fight with a kid cuz he was beating on my brother and stole his bike so I beat his **** with no mercy I'm a good kid but I have zero tolerance when it comes to my brother

Also - a word of advice from a ROM flash-addict: Keep good records of your changes. A complete lack of a change-log will keep me from even trying a ROM. A random post somewhere in a thread that says "Updated. I don't remember all the changes." makes me wonder about the quality/usability of the ROM. I'm hoping to fix play store problem by this week hopefully then I will work on mms
I think i know how to fix play store
Mms I will figure out
Hopefully I can release a build with play store fixed by tommorow
After I fix mms development will be kinda slower
Working on it best I can have put 2hours today and 6houts yesterday so I'm working on it

When you make a zip, just post the framwwork.jar, I'll fix MMS.

And the official MIUI site won't help at all. That has nothing to do with our case.

if anyone is running please try this to fix themes
use a file manager apk
to get install a apk or something
make a new folder in the /data/system called "theme' without quotes this should fix themes
if not i will still work on it

OP updated fixed themes and fixed play store(YAH) synced with gannons latest build from vmroms didnt see his new build on android central so checked vmroms and there was a newer rom version availible so lets see how this plays out

edit this and pm it to me when your done fixing mms
