Did you wipe cache/data/dalvik and flash both the Custom GApps and Rom? I really dont know why. I'll restore the Gallery back to the ICS one if it keeps giving problems for everyone. Hmm, try reseting the search box's cache or something?

I used Leslie's prep zip as I always do. I'll try messing with settings and such and maybe try one more flash. Not being and to use Google Now won't keep me from using the ROM at all

How do I do that?

I tried to change dalvik heap size from 128m to 145m using es file explorer...it gave me an error trying to save it

^^^ try build prop editor from the market. Ive had success before changing some settings.

Worked like a charm! I changed dalvik heap from 128 to 150. Still got the fc's... but learned how to edit build props!

Yep works with all ics roms. Just download the zip I attached dont follow the link.

Go to mounts and storage in recovery and mount system, then go to flash zip from sdcard and flash it.

Yeah, but they don't seem exactly like JB. Apps open in a smooth transition, but they don't open from the apps location...if you know what I mean

I've actually seen that file and it's among my VanillaBean builds\JB files\Apps\ICS\APKTool\Random other JB stuff to port over on my Flash Drive. If i can successfully decompile Framework-res ill put them in :P

Try decompiling the originial framewrork-res then do what you need to do then recompile it. Then use 7zip to edit the png's.

When I decompile it/recompile it via APKTool I get issues in both things. False files, exceptions, and the like.

As for editing images- isn't it more complicated then just replacing the images in 7z?
