    Yes there is.

    Go to: Setting>Wireless & Networks>Wi-Fi Setting>Push the Menu button>Select Advanced>Wi-Fi sleep Policy>Change to Never

I believe (but I could be wrong) that 3g is actually more battery efficient.

I think the tests showed that 3g was better when you weren't transmitting data, but in the end, wifi is best for moderate data usage.

The developer bricked his phone. So development on this rom has stalled for now. I still use it but I am using one of the new kernels that has been made from LG source code.

Thanks for the heads up. That's how I did it last night using ROMtools. I'm running Rodimus with the Xionia 014 kernel now. It seems much better than the VM and 005 I was running until yesterday.

It's actually a built in widget for Froyo. Just press and hold on the home screen. Choose Widget, then power control.

What recovery are you using, and did you wipe everything before you flashed the ROM?

Never, never do a factory reset. All kinds of screwy things can happen. Have you tried ROMtools? Super easy to use and works great.

I've used ROMtools to flash several different ROMs without issue. I do remember flashing a theme from here and the wallpaper changes to stock Rodimus. I never used that wallpaper so it didn't affect me.
