stuck in fastboot

I'm stuck in fastboot mode. My power button is broke, prior to me changing roms, so I can't use it to get back into recovery mode. I've tried adb shell but it device not found.

Help?

here is a guide on using fastboot to root, but you can use it to flash whatever rom.

I had downloaded that but didn't try it because the directions:

Download the usb drivers from here

On your phone turn on usb debugging by pushing menu, then settings, then applications, then development, and then usb debugging.


I decided to try it anyways and I flashed the full package and it worked! Thanks for helping. Is there a way to permanently assign the power button to a different key?

there's a key remapper on the market, or you can manually change the thunderkeypad.kl file, but:
the remap will only work while booted into a rom.
you could hack a kernel (not for the faint of heart) and get the remap in recovery, too, but for powering the phone on initially I don't think there's anything you can do.
