Trying to modify an existing rom

I need some help, here. Currently I am using MIUIHO ROM. This ROM was based on the BACKside build from 8/25. I would love to have the mic fix from the BACKside 8/31 build while having all the perks of MIUIHO. So how would I go about piecing the 8/31 build together with MIUIHO? Is it a simple matter of transferring the apps from one to another? Or is there more involved? Should I just wait for an update? Someone please advise!

Answered your question in the MIUI ROM thread. Feel free to let me know if you have more questions. I don't believe he did any actual programing changes in backside. Just added a new boot animation, boot sound, and the miui apps available here and there.
