[HELP] Optimus V + kp500

Hello android central, this is my first post and it is because i need help with optimus v. A few days ago i messed up my phone and now its stuck on the silver lg screen. So long story short can anyone tell me how to flash a .cab file with kp500 for the optimus v vm670

How did you mess up your phone? It might be helpful if we knew what you did to get to this point.

I rooted my phone using androot, then i installed rom mananger , then superuser, then through Rom mananger i installed clockwork recovery, then i put a rom on my sdcard and using rom mananger i chose the option to install rom from sdcard. It rebooted and was stuck or something, so after 20 min with no response i took out the battery and thats when my phone got messed up. Whenever i start it regularly it is stuck at the silver lg logo, and if i start it through recovery it flashes the lg logo and then just goes black with the backlight on.

I have found out the necessary commands for kp500 but everytime i try using them i get an error such as neccesary information not found

BTW is it possible to force update using the lg mobile updater

Read thru this. That blog you posted is incorrect. KP500 doesn't work with the Optimus V. You are pretty much bricked. http://forums.androidcentral.com/op...ques-dont-currently-work.html?highlight=kp500

You might be able to start from scratch via Bootloader or ADB, or try accessing your recovery.

if you boot up into recovery, and it goes black, try using adb shell.
if that works, and you get a "#" prompt, you probably have a new screen type which isn't supported by most recoveries or any V roms except one.
in that case, look here:
