yeah i dont think the OV has a 2.3.4 update over the air...

someone please correct me if im wrong, this would be major news.

As far as I know, Virgin Mobile stated they wont push the update, they rather you buy a new one, with it on it...

As far as I know, the only Optimus to get a gingerbread update OTA is the Optimus S. If he managed to flash that, then he really is screwed.

Hmmm. Apparently I might be an *****. It's the Optimus Slider (LG-VM701), which apparently ISN'T the Optimus V. Wooops. Sorry all.
