    It will probably boot, but at the very least, you will have no data.

    If you try it, be prepared to have to re-activate when you flash back.
    Make sure there is no radio image included either or it will destroy your phone.

    Just flashed the optimus s ics beta rom on my optimus v .... I have no service maybe changing the prl will fix the problem

    No. its not built for the Optimus V it needs to be ported to work properly.

    just flashed it, liking it so far. There's still some lag but it's surprisingly smooth
