Optimus M has superior hardware?

So I rooted and flashed my cousin's Optimus M. Upon testing the phone out i came across something rather strange. The touchscreen seems a lot better. It's more sentitive, more responsive, and overall better. It wasn't overclocked and tested it both with stock and 2.3.4 but why is this? Is that phone more superior? Can i somehow make my phone's touchscreen better? (optimus V)

ive used that phone and its really horrible.

i think you have a faulty OV if thats what your comparing it to.

After trying (and flashing) a bunch of different Optimus Vs owned by different people, I've come across some phones that had more responsive touchscreens than others. I think your Optimus V just happens to be a wonky one.

Screen protectors can have a large impact as well.
I could tell a huge difference between my Zagg and my cheap Ebay ones. The Zagg being terrible for sensitivity.

Zaggs are horrible, they are just marketed well.

I like WrightRight, cheaper than zaggs, with good sensitivity, and I've been using the same one for a year now!

I also use them on all my family's phones and tablets.

I don't use protection, it feels better. My phone has one little scratch on it after a year of having it. Plus I can not get one on without it being crooked or bubbling up, I have big clumsy fingers

Anyway, I hadn't ever had a protector on my screen until my bro bought me an Otterbox. Now, it just looks like my screen is scratched to hell because of the protector on it. I did get a couple of scuffs on my bare screen but overall it's held up better than I thought.

I should have taken more notice when i saw the package say "increased grip". While great for carrying, it's TERRIBLE for Swype!.

I couldn't wait to be rid of that damn thing. Never again.
