3D on gingerbread?

Is there a way to get the 3D apprawer on gingerbread roms without installing launcher pro etc.
Only a stock gb launcher with 3D appdrawer

To change the app drawer, you need a new launcher. You can't keep the stock GB launcher and get a 3D app drawer.

Yeah, I edited my post, no reason to point you to a specific launcher that I haven't even tried yet myself, I had just heard of it.

adw ex gives you a decent app drawer...

mines set on vertical4d...

I agree, I'm using adw ex launcher and it has 3-d setting for the app drawer.

I didn't avoid the question. The Nexus is a Samsung phone, right? So, it isn't running stock GB, it's running Touchwiz, hence appearance tweaks like the 3D app drawer.

So, back to my original answer: 3d app drawer requires the use of a 3rd party launcher.

Actually the nexus s is running stock GB just like the samsung galaxy nexus is running stock ICS
They are samsung but run stock

Cool, good to know. I'm guessing the 3D effect is stock on ICS then, but it obviously isn't stock on GB.

Here is a thread on XDA with a link to the "stock" GB launcher from a Nexus S, maybe give it a shot and see if it gives you what you want?

There's a GB launcher on the market with 3D app drawer, but its out of place on our phones because its for HDPI.


Nexus S is NOT touchwiz

My guess, it's only the phones thats pure Samsung, and not Google.

I believe that the 3d drawer that the stock launcher has only comes with hdpi devices. For example, the triumph came with a launcher that has the 3d drawer and it has stock froyo.
